We're
not shy about the quality of our meats. No Sir!
We offer only the freshest, highest grade meat and we're
proud of that. Kenrick's started as a
butcher shop back in 1945,
and although we've grown throughout the years and added our
catering services and hot deli, we haven't abandoned our
roots. We still know meat and are here to share that
knowledge with you, whether it's a nice juicy steak, a slab
of ribs, pork steaks, a fresh chicken, grade A turkey, one
of our smoked hams, any of our 15 varieties of European
sausages, veal or any of our fresh meat selections. We can even supply a whole pig for your luau! Our meat
is always fresh, delicious, and prepared the way you
want! And if you're looking for a particular cut, just
ask. We are happy to cut our fresh meat at any
size. Quality, freshness and great service - it's all
here at Kenrick's! View the information below from Joe

There's
no better place than Kenrick's for your
wholesale meats. We supply meats for daily use to some
of St. Louis' finest restaurants. We also have USDA
status, which means there's a government inspector on site
every day to make sure the meat you get is the best
available. There aren't many butcher shops that can
make that claim. We also do a lot of fundraising
with the local schools and charities. We supply the
equipment and all you need for your fundraiser. That's
everything from the charcoal and BBQ pits to the freshest
meats in town! We also sell just the meat, just the
food, just the equipment or just those items you need to
make your fundraiser a success. We even do pizza
fundraisers! We're Kenrick's, an
active part of your community in more ways than one.

JOE
THE BUTCHER SAYS .... "BUYING BEEF IN
BULK CAN BE A GREAT DEAL!"
What
are the advantages of buying in bulk?
-
Less
Expensive
Buying in bulk can save you money over
regular grocery store prices. If you
don't have that many mouths to feed,
consider going halves with another couple
or family.
-
Fewer
Trips to the Grocery Store
Why plan your meal around what's on sale?
-
Meat
is Packed for Freezing
If you buy large quantities at the grocery
store, you need to repack the meat to
freeze it. When you purchase a side
of beef, we do it for you.
-
Cut
to Your Specification
We'll cut meat according to your
specifications and pack it the way you
want it.
How
long can meat be frozen and still maintain its
quality and freshness?
Beef
can be stored from 9-12 months. Ground
beef can be stored from 3-4 months. Most
meat items can be safely stored for longer
periods, but may lose quality in taste.
How
many pounds of meat will a freezer hold?
A
rule of thumb is one cubic foot of freezer
space for each 35-40 pounds of cut and wrapped
meat. Allow slightly more space when the
meat is packaged in odd shapes.
Please
allow 7 days for processing.
How
much meat will I get from a Side of Beef?
On
average if you were to buy a 325-350 lb.* Side
of Beef you would receive:

Chuck Roast - 30 lbs.
Soup Bones - 10 lbs.
Rolled Rump Roast - 8 lbs.
